The Leadership Team will undertake the collaboration, coordination, and capacity building necessary to lead the Coalition in advancing and implementing the strategies to end homelessness.
Leadership Team
- Adrian Yip – Originally from Vancouver, Adrian has volunteered as a mentor for urban Indigenous youth and in suicide and crisis response. Professionally, Adrian supports non-profits by improving their business and operational processes through collaboration and optimization.
- Jay de Montarnal (they/them) – is a youth programmer at Wachiay Friendship Centre who brings extensive experience coordinating collective impact initiatives to the Coalition to End Homelessness. Through their consulting company, Authentic Horizons, Jay and their partner also develop custom diversity, equity, and inclusion training for various organizations in the Comox Valley.
- Julia Henseleit – A public health practitioner with a focus on housing and homelessness, contributing a systems-based health perspective.
- Kim Hewitt – Representing the Salvation Army, Kim brings extensive experience in supportive housing management and building community collaboration.
- Dave Myers – A committed community volunteer with the Care-A-Van, Dave offers practical insight from frontline outreach and expertise from his career in the construction industry.
- Angela Fletcher – Advisor – Executive Director of Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness and Consultant from Collective Light Consulting
The role of the Leadership Team is to coordinate the activities of the Coalition and bring items for discussion and decision forward to the members.
